Connect to Your High School Senior with a Year-Long Journal.

Where does the time go for high school moms?

You’re at the doorstep of your child’s senior year in high school.

Your emotions are running on high alert.

It feels impossible to find the time to connect and to give your last bit of advice, encouragement, and the love they need to venture out on their own.

How can you capture those senior year moments when it feels like your time left together is SO short?

I felt the same way,  so I decided to write a year-long journal for my high school senior.

I wrote a year-long journal during the senior year for each of my children.

  • The “lasts”.

  • The lessons.

  • The longing I had for them to succeed.

  • The emotions.

It was life-changing.

It can be the same for you.

I’m Cindy Manko

Moms of teens, I have been where you are.

I understand your ups and downs.

Your tears and smiles, sometimes at the same time!

I am here to help you process it all!

The most important things to me in life aren’t things. It’s the people who share love and life!

I share a wonderful life with my husband Steve, and my grown and flown children, Maria, Nadia and Thomas.

“It was so good to see your perspective on all the things I was going through, and see the process from start to finish written down. I am so grateful you were my mom and not my friend, because I realized how important your guidance was to me in tough moments.”

-Maria

I gifted the journals to my kids the day we dropped them off at college.

Here’s what they said after reading the journal:

“It was fun to see how far I’ve come. I laughed at some of the phases that you mentioned that I went through in high school. I was surprised at how much I’ve changed.”

Thomas-

“I loved reading it so much that I would only allow myself to read one journal entry a day so it would last longer. Thank you for showing me how capable I am.”

-Nadia

If I had to pick my favorite place it would be our cabin on the lake where family time reigns with laughter, sunshine, wake surfing, and tubing.

I may or may not be the most requested driver for tubing (it’s a wild ride)!

My hobbies consist of chatting with friends and family, and If I am not chatting you can always find me decorating a room, or some cookies, or making some sort of creative project.

I really don’t like cooking, but no one has died as a result.

“Life without dill flavored anything would be boring!

Peanut Butter and dill pickle sandwiches ruled my lunchbox as a kid and have helped me through all of life’s struggles.

Living connected is a big “DILL” and I am here to help you connect with your high school senior!”
